What is the average age range of the members?
Shadows represents the youngest lifestyle party, as well as the largest percentage of single women at a lifestyle event in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Shadows has a very wide range of ages and is designed to EVERYONE. Come to see us and have a great time!!!
Do I have to be 21 to attend?
YES. We are a BYOB private club and everyone has to be at least 21 years old to attend.
!! To be admitted into our club you must have a state issued ID. Shadows provides a safe and secured environment for consenting adults to enjoy our lifestyle.

Do I have to become a member to attend Shadows Private Club ?
YES. All couples , single men, and single females are required to become members of the club. you must fill an application onsite (NO ONLINE APPLICATIONS), sign a waiver, sign a club's rules and regulations forms, be approved by an authorized official member, pay one day membership or an annual membership fee once a year. All memberships fees MUST be pay onsite. You can attend an event on the same day you become a member. Memberships fee and Nightly use events fees are collected onsite. You can not enter the club until you have become a bona fides member.

What is the ethnic make up of the members of the club?
Our members are a diverse mix of interesting people interested in the lifestyle. Everyone is welcome.
Is there a dress code at Shadows?
Yes. No oversized solid white or black T-shirts for the guys. No head covering. Remember, this is private club....DRESS to IMPRESS. For more specific information on dress codes please go to the club information page.
What types of payments do you take at the door for our visit fees and annual membership?
We take Cash and major credit cards.
Do you have the Mixers ?
YES. We provide all of the regular mixers. Diet Cola, Cola, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic, OJ, Cranberry, Pineapple, and Grapefruit, completely FREE of charge. However, if do not have anything else to drink.
